I love you the more because you flee from me is a collaborative photography project with my partner Barbara Raidl. Technically-speaking they are little more than long exposures of long focal length images of the horizon. Metaphorically they represent the limit of our knowledge, the edge between the known and unknown, the connection between time and space.
These images are shot through several stops of neutral density filters, often during the changing light at sunrise, and converted to JPEG in-camera with spot removal and noise reduction in performed in Lightroom.
Selected images mages from the project were included in the Landscape and Seascape exhibitions at the Glasgow galler of photography in the summer of 2022.
