The design and development of webDICE (2014) was a collaboration with researchers at the Center for robust decision-making in climate and energy policy (RDCEP) at the University of Chicago. webDICE provides an interactive interface through which users explore DICE, an integrated assessment model of the global climate and economy developed by Professor William Nordhaus.

webDICE allows the user to compare multiple scenarios; choose alternative damages functions (which relate damages to the climate to economic damages); and run an optimized scenario which creates a numerically optimized emissions pathway that maximizes utility.

The project is open source and its code is available at github.com/rdcep/chicagowebdice.
